The Tifosi Veloce Light Night Fototec combines a lightweight, vented half-frame design with a photochromic lens that automatically responds to changing light. It is a practical option for cycling, running and multisport use, particularly when conditions vary throughout the ride.
The lens starts nearly clear in low light and darkens when exposed to UV. This makes it well suited to early starts, evening rides, shaded trails, overcast weather and routes that regularly move between tree cover and open sunlight.
Light Night Fototec Lens
Tifosi’s Fototec technology adjusts the lens tint according to the available UV light. You can start a ride in dim conditions without carrying a separate clear lens, while the lens becomes darker as the day brightens.
Photochromic performance varies with temperature and UV intensity. The lens may not darken fully inside a vehicle because many windscreens filter the UV light needed to activate it. Riders spending most of their time in consistently bright, exposed conditions may prefer a darker dedicated sun lens.
Vented Half-Frame Design
The open lower edge provides a clear field of view when checking the road, trail or bike computer. Lens vents improve airflow and help reduce moisture build-up during harder efforts, although no sports glasses can remain completely fog-free in every condition.
The Grilamid TR-90 frame is light, flexible and durable enough for regular sporting use. At approximately 28g, the Veloce remains comfortable during longer rides, runs and training sessions.
Adjustable and Secure Fit
Adjustable nose and ear pieces allow the fit to be fine-tuned for different face shapes and helmet positions. Hydrophilic rubber becomes grippier as it gets wet, helping the glasses remain secure as you move and perspire.
The Small–Large fit accommodates a broad range of adult faces. When using the Veloce for cycling, check that the arms sit comfortably beneath your helmet retention system without creating pressure points.

Prescription Compatibility
The Veloce is compatible with the separately available Tifosi Veloce RX Adaptor. The adaptor fits behind the main lens to provide prescription correction without replacing the Fototec lens. The RX adaptor and prescription lenses are not included with these sunglasses.
Our Thoughts
This version of the Veloce makes the most sense for riders who regularly start early, finish late or move between open roads and shaded trails. The Light Night Fototec lens removes the need to stop and change lenses as the light changes.
The adjustable fit is also useful when pairing glasses with a cycling helmet. If your riding is almost entirely under strong midday sun, choose a darker lens. For mixed and changeable conditions, this is the more versatile option.
