TIME ATAC MX 6 Enduro Pedals
Fast Engagement. Durable Construction. Ready for Every Trail.
The TIME ATAC MX 6 pedals are versatile clip-in mountain bike pedals designed for everything from everyday trail riding to enduro and fat biking. A supportive glass-filled composite platform is paired with an oversized hollow steel axle, creating a durable pedal that weighs just 190g per side.
TIME’s open ATAC mechanism provides fast engagement, natural foot movement and dependable mud clearance. The included ATAC cleats can be configured for either a 13° or 17° release angle, allowing riders to choose the setup that best suits their experience and riding style.
Support for Rough Terrain
The surrounding platform provides useful shoe support when riding across rough or uneven trails.
It creates a more stable connection than a compact cross-country pedal and gives the rider a usable surface to stand on briefly if they miss an engagement after putting a foot down.
Fast ATAC Engagement
TIME’s ATAC system uses a wide entry angle to make finding and engaging the mechanism straightforward.
Once clipped in, the system provides positive retention with predictable release and enough movement to avoid making the foot feel rigidly fixed in place.
Two Release-Angle Options
The supplied ATAC cleats can be configured to release at either 13° or 17°, depending on how they are installed.
The 13° setting provides quicker disengagement, while the 17° option offers additional security for aggressive riding. ATAC Easy cleats are also compatible and provide a lower 10° release angle, but are sold separately.
Natural Lateral Movement
The ATAC system provides 5mm of lateral freedom, allowing the foot to settle into a comfortable position over the pedal.
This movement can feel more natural through the knees and hips than a completely fixed pedal setup, particularly during longer rides.
Reliable Mud Clearance
The open mechanism clears mud and debris whenever the rider clips in.
This self-cleaning action helps maintain reliable engagement through wet winters, muddy races and changing trail conditions.
Strong Hollow Steel Axle
An oversized hollow steel axle provides the strength needed for demanding off-road riding while helping keep the overall weight under control.
The axle is paired with steel bearings and a durable glass-filled composite body for dependable performance across a wide range of mountain biking.

Who Are These Pedals For?
The TIME ATAC MX 6 is for mountain bikers who want a durable and versatile clip-in pedal for regular trail use. It provides more robust construction and slightly lower weight than the entry-level MX 2 while retaining the same straightforward, fixed-tension ATAC mechanism.
It’s a good option for experienced clip-in riders who want the standard 13° or 17° ATAC cleats supplied with their pedals.
Which TIME Trail Pedal Is Right for You?
• ATAC MX 2: An accessible first clip-in pedal supplied with easy-release 10° ATAC Easy cleats
• ATAC MX 6: A lighter, tougher option with an oversized hollow steel axle and standard 13°/17° ATAC cleats
• Speciale 8: An aluminium enduro pedal with adjustable spring tension and tunable grip pins
All three use TIME’s open, mud-clearing ATAC mechanism. The best choice depends on the desired release feel, construction and level of adjustment.

Our Thoughts on the TIME ATAC MX 6
The MX 6 is the pedal we’d recommend to regular trail riders who want a step up from the entry-level MX 2 without paying for the aluminium body and additional adjustments of the Speciale 8. The hollow steel axle keeps the pedal reasonably light, while the composite platform is tough enough for everyday mountain biking.
TIME’s ATAC system is easy to engage and works particularly well in muddy conditions. The supplied cleats also give riders the choice of a quicker 13° release or a more secure 17° setup.
The spring tension isn’t adjustable, so riders wanting to fine-tune the engagement feel should look at the Speciale 8. For anyone wanting a simple, durable and reliable trail pedal, the MX 6 is a very practical choice.
