The ULAC EuroStile Nuvo Chain Key Lock is a practical security option for everyday riding, café stops and short periods away from your bike. Its flexible 100cm length makes it easy to secure a bike to many racks and suitable fixed objects, while remaining compact enough to transport on the bike.
A 5mm heat-treated hardened-steel chain provides the underlying strength. This is surrounded by a water-resistant UHMWPE fibre sleeve that adds cut resistance, protects the chain and helps prevent scratches to the bike’s frame.
Heat-Treated Steel Construction
At the centre of the EuroStile Nuvo is a 5mm heat-treated hardened-steel chain designed to resist cutting and tensile force.
The flexible chain is easier to position around different frame shapes and locking points than a rigid lock, while the 100cm length provides useful reach without becoming excessively heavy.
Cut-Resistant UHMWPE Sleeve
The chain is covered by an ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene sleeve. UHMWPE is a strong and abrasion-resistant fibre that provides greater cut resistance than a conventional nylon covering.
The sleeve also prevents the steel links from rubbing directly against the bike, helping protect painted and clear-coated frame surfaces during locking and transport.
