The ULAC Neo Vue Otaku is a lightweight pair of full-frame sunglasses designed for cycling, touring and everyday outdoor use. Its wide fit, adjustable nose pads and 25g TR90 frame provide comfortable coverage without feeling unnecessarily heavy.
Every pair includes an RX insert and ULAC Neo Porter, which doubles as a protective case and compact handlebar bag.
Photochromic or Polarised Lenses
The Otaku is available with photochromic or polarised polycarbonate lenses. Photochromic lenses change tint as UV exposure changes, making them useful for rides that move between open roads, shaded trails and changing weather.
Polarised lenses help reduce reflected glare from roads and water. Polarised models also include a replacement clear lens for low-light conditions. Check your selected frame and lens combination before ordering.
ULAC’s Köri lens technology is designed to improve contrast, limit colour distortion and reduce eye fatigue. The 1.3mm cylindrical lens provides high impact resistance and UV400 protection from UVA and UVB rays.
Photochromic performance varies with temperature and UV exposure. The lens may not darken fully behind some vehicle windscreens because the glass blocks much of the UV light required to activate it.
Wide, Adjustable Fit
The durable TR90 frame has a wide fit, while adjustable nose pads let you fine-tune how the glasses sit. At approximately 25g, the Otaku is light enough for longer rides and regular everyday wear.
Neo Porter and RX Insert Included
The included RX insert can be fitted with prescription lenses by a suitable optical provider.
The Neo Porter protects the glasses and can also be mounted as a compact 0.8L handlebar bag. Check your handlebar space before fitting it and make sure the bag cannot interfere with cables, brake hoses, lights or steering.
