X-LAB RS7 105 Di2 Singularity Black Road Bike
Description

X-LAB RS7 – Shimano 105 Di2  More stock due Mid September- Pre Order Now

The X-LAB RS7 is a carbon road bike for riders who want responsive performance without the uncompromising position of a dedicated race bike. Its Toray carbon frameset combines efficient power transfer with stable handling, while Shimano 105 Di2 shifting, an integrated Branta power meter and C50 carbon wheels deliver a high-quality package for training, group rides and long days on the road.

Carbon Performance for Everyday Roads

The Toray T800 carbon frame provides the stiffness needed for efficient acceleration and climbing while retaining enough compliance for longer rides. Its performance-oriented geometry feels responsive without placing the rider in an excessively aggressive position.

A Toray T700 carbon fork and thru-axles help maintain accurate steering and consistent brake alignment. This gives the RS7 a planted and predictable feel when cornering or descending at speed.

Shimano 105 Di2 Shifting

Shimano 105 Di2 provides fast and consistent electronic shifting through a 12-speed drivetrain. Light button inputs make shifting easier during hard efforts, while the electronic system removes the gradual cable stretch associated with mechanical drivetrains.

A 52/36T crankset and 11–34T cassette provide a versatile gear range for fast road riding, sustained climbs and longer routes.

Power Measurement Included

The Branta alloy crankset incorporates a dual-sided power meter, allowing riders to measure effort accurately without purchasing an aftermarket crank or pedal system. Power data can be transmitted to compatible cycling computers using ANT+ or viewed through the X-LAB app using Bluetooth.

Apple Find My connectivity is also incorporated into the crankset, providing an additional way to locate the bike through a compatible Apple device.

C50 Carbon Wheel Performance *subject to change to C45

The Branta C50 Base carbon wheelset uses 50mm-deep rims to improve aerodynamic efficiency and help the RS7 maintain speed on open roads. The deeper profile is particularly beneficial during solo tempo rides, fast bunch riding and flatter events.

Stainless-steel spokes provide practical durability, while the carbon rims are tubeless compatible when fitted with appropriate valves, sealant and tubeless tyres.

Comfortable 32C Road Tyres

Branta R332 700 x 32C tyres provide greater volume than traditional narrow road tyres. This improves comfort, grip and stability on coarse chipseal and imperfect road surfaces without making the bike feel slow or unresponsive.

The frame accepts tyres up to 32C. The standard tyres are not tubeless compatible, although the rims can be converted when suitable tubeless tyres are installed.

Confident Hydraulic Braking

Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes provide dependable stopping power in changing weather conditions. Their light lever action allows riders to control speed more precisely while reducing hand effort on longer or steeper descents.

A 160mm front rotor provides strong braking and heat management, while the 140mm rear rotor keeps the system balanced.

Why Riders Love the X-LAB RS7 Di2

The X-LAB RS7 Di2 suits riders who want a fast and responsive carbon road bike that remains comfortable enough for regular training and longer rides. Its electronic drivetrain, carbon wheels and integrated power meter provide meaningful performance benefits without requiring immediate upgrades.

Balanced Road Performance

The carbon frameset responds efficiently when accelerating or climbing but retains the stable handling needed for long rides and fast descents.

Electronic Shifting

Shimano 105 Di2 delivers accurate gear changes using light button inputs. The system remains consistent during hard efforts and requires less routine adjustment than cable-operated shifting.

Training with Power

The integrated power meter allows riders to pace climbs, measure progress and complete structured training sessions using reliable effort data.

Real-World Comfort

The carbon frame, carbon seatpost and 32C tyres help reduce vibration on coarse and uneven road surfaces.

Aerodynamic Efficiency

The 50mm carbon wheels help the bike carry speed on flatter roads, fast group rides and solo training sessions.

Broad Size Range

Six frame sizes, combined with size-specific crank lengths, handlebars and stems, help riders achieve a more balanced and appropriate fit.

Practical Servicing

A threaded BSA bottom bracket and widely supported Shimano components make regular servicing relatively straightforward for an experienced workshop.

Who Is This Bike For?

Perfect For

✔ Fast recreational road riding
✔ Weekend group rides
✔ Long-distance road events
✔ Structured training using power
✔ Riders upgrading from an aluminium road bike
✔ Riders wanting Shimano electronic shifting
✔ Riders who value comfort alongside speed
✔ Riders wanting carbon wheels and a power meter from the outset

Our Thoughts on the X-LAB RS7 Di2

The X-LAB RS7 Di2 offers an impressive specification for riders moving into a modern carbon road bike. Shimano 105 Di2 is reliable, precise and easy to use, while the Branta power meter and C50 carbon wheels provide upgrades that would normally add considerably to the cost of a bike.

Compared with the more aggressive X-LAB AD8, the RS7 places greater emphasis on accessible fit, stability and everyday comfort. It is the model we would recommend to riders who still want a fast bike but expect to spend long hours training, riding with a group or exploring varied road routes.

The 32C tyre clearance is well suited to contemporary road riding, although the lack of rack and full-mudguard compatibility means it is less appropriate for loaded touring or all-weather commuting. For regular road riding, training and faster weekend use, the RS7 Di2 provides a strong combination of performance, equipment and value.
