The Yedoo OneToo is a lightweight 12-inch balance bike designed to help young children develop balance, steering and braking skills before moving to a pedal bike.

Its steel frame provides a low 30 cm minimum saddle height, while pneumatic tyres, alloy rims and a child-sized brake give it a more bike-like ride than basic balance bikes with solid wheels.

Designed for Smaller Riders

Yedoo recommends the OneToo for children from approximately 18 months old and at least 85 cm tall. The saddle adjusts from 30–41 cm and the handlebar height adjusts from 55–62 cm.

The angled seat tube increases the distance between the saddle and handlebar as the saddle is raised. This gives growing riders more room rather than simply lifting them higher above the bike.

A correct fit allows the child to sit on the saddle with both feet planted securely on the ground and their knees slightly bent.

Pneumatic Tyres and a Child-Sized Brake

The 12-inch pneumatic tyres provide better grip and cushioning across footpaths, driveways, parks and firm gravel than solid foam tyres. Maximum recommended inflation pressure is 2.5 bar.

A mini V-brake and short-reach aluminium lever introduce children to controlled braking. The lever is sized for smaller hands and operates with a light, smooth action.

Practical Safety Details

Widened grip ends provide extra hand protection, while the padded handlebar cover helps protect the rider during an unexpected impact. Reflective printing on the cover improves visibility in dull conditions.

The narrow Yedoo saddle gives the rider’s legs room to move freely during each stride.

The OneToo is a good step up from a basic balance bike. Pneumatic tyres improve grip and comfort, while the brake lets children begin learning a skill they will need when moving to a pedal bike.

The 30 cm minimum saddle height is particularly useful for smaller riders, but checking the child’s inside-leg measurement remains the best way to confirm fit.
