The Allen Deluxe Two-Child Bike Trailer & Stroller gives you one unit for cycling and walking. It can carry one or two children, then converts into a stroller using the included swivel front wheel.
The padded five-point harnesses keep passengers securely seated, while the large windows and removable weather cover help keep the cabin comfortable. Its 45kg total capacity makes it suitable for carrying two children, although each passenger must weigh no more than 23kg.

Trailer and Stroller Modes
In trailer mode, the coupler attaches to the bicycle’s rear axle and the safety flag helps make the trailer more visible. Once you have finished riding, the swivel front wheel converts it into a stroller for walking.
Before cycling, check that the trailer arm, coupler and safety flag are fitted correctly. When changing to stroller mode, follow Allen’s setup instructions and make sure the front wheel is securely attached.
Bike Compatibility
The supplied coupler fits many conventional bikes with a standard rear axle or quick-release skewer.
Bikes with thru-axles, hub gears or other non-standard rear axles may require a suitable adaptor or replacement thru-axle. Check compatibility before purchasing rather than assuming the coupler will fit every bike.
Not Suitable for E-Bikes
Allen specifically states that this trailer must not be used with electric bicycles. This applies even if the coupler appears to fit the e-bike’s rear axle.
Our Thoughts
This model makes sense if you want a child trailer for bike rides but would also use a stroller once you arrive. The swivel front wheel is handy for trips to the park, events and other places where you may want to park the bike and continue on foot.
The large windows help the cabin feel less enclosed, while the bug screen and rain shield are useful when the weather changes. The two-seat design gives you room for one or two children, but the total load must remain under 45kg and neither passenger can weigh more than 23kg.
Towing a trailer changes the way a bike handles. Allow more room for braking, take corners steadily and remember that the trailer is wider than the bike when passing posts, kerbs and other riders.
