General Service – $129*
A thorough safety check and tune-up for a bike that is regularly ridden and generally working as it should.
- Inspect the frame, fork and components for damage or excessive wear
- Check and adjust front and rear brakes
- Inspect brake pads, rotors and braking surfaces
- Check derailleur hanger alignment
- Adjust and tune gears
- Inspect gear and brake cables, housings and hydraulic hoses
- Check the chain for wear and lubricate the drivetrain
- Inspect the cassette, chainrings and jockey wheels for wear
- Check the headset, bottom bracket and wheel bearings for play
- Check wheels, rims and spoke tension
- Carry out minor wheel truing where required
- Inspect tyres for wear or damage and set pressures correctly
- Check and torque important fastenings
- Wipe down the frame and components
- Complete a final safety check and test ride
*Labour only. Replacement parts, fluids and additional repairs are not included. We will contact you before fitting parts or carrying out work beyond the service package.
Who Is the General Service For?
The General Service is best suited to bikes that are regularly ridden and need their brakes, gears and general condition checked and adjusted. It is ideal for routine maintenance when the bike is fundamentally working well and does not require a major strip-down.
If your bike has significant wear, damaged components, contaminated brakes or parts requiring more extensive servicing, we will assess it and discuss the available options with you before proceeding.
