Carbon Levo 4 Performance with GENIE Suspension and SRAM AXS Shifting.
The Specialized Turbo Levo 4 Comp Carbon combines a FACT 11m carbon chassis with the power and range of the Specialized 3.1 Motor and 840Wh battery. It is a full-power electric trail bike built to climb technical terrain, cover big distances and still handle like a proper mountain bike when the trail turns downhill.
FOX suspension with GENIE Shock Technology manages 160mm of front travel and 150mm at the rear. SRAM Maven Bronze brakes, SRAM S1000 Eagle AXS Transmission and mixed wheels complete a well-balanced build for riders who want carbon Levo 4 performance without stepping up to the Expert or Pro models.
Specialized 3.1 Motor
The Specialized 3.1 Motor delivers up to 810W of peak power and 105Nm of torque. It has plenty of strength for steep climbs but delivers that assistance in a controlled way, helping the rear tyre maintain traction through loose corners and awkward technical sections.
Motor support can be adjusted through the Specialized app, allowing you to change the assistance and response to suit the ride. Micro Tune and Dynamic Micro Tune provide finer control when you want to adjust support without making a large jump between modes.
840Wh Battery for Longer Trail Rides
The integrated 840Wh battery provides up to 5.33 hours of claimed riding time. Actual range depends on the assistance mode, rider weight, elevation, trail conditions, temperature and how much effort the rider contributes.
The side-entry battery design makes removal more convenient, while the large capacity is well suited to longer rides and days with repeated climbing.
Optional 280Wh Range Extender
For bigger days, the Levo 4 is compatible with the Specialized Levo 4 Full Power 280Wh Range Extender, sold separately.
Used with the standard 840Wh battery, the Range Extender increases total available battery capacity to 1,120Wh. This lets you add extra capacity for longer rides without carrying the additional battery on shorter outings.
MasterMind T3 Display
The MasterMind T3 system uses a 2.2-inch high-resolution colour screen to display ride and e-bike information clearly. It can be customised through the Specialized app so you can choose which data is shown while riding.
The system also supports ride recording, motor tuning, Turbo System Lock and Apple Find My integration.
FACT 11m Carbon Frame
The Levo 4 Comp Carbon uses a FACT 11m carbon chassis and carbon rear end. It provides 150mm of rear-wheel travel with a side-entry battery, sealed cartridge-bearing pivots and SRAM UDH compatibility.
The carbon construction reduces the complete bike’s claimed weight while retaining the adjustable geometry, SWAT storage and full-power Turbo system that define the Levo 4 platform.
Adjustable Trail Geometry
The Levo 4 chassis allows the head-tube angle, bottom-bracket height and chainstay length to be adjusted. This gives you useful control over the bike’s handling rather than locking you into one setup.
The bike can be set up for a more responsive trail feel or adjusted for added stability on steeper and faster terrain. The frame is also compatible with forks offering up to 180mm of travel.
Downtube SWAT Storage
Weather-resistant SWAT storage is built into the downtube, providing space for tools and basic trail essentials. It is a practical way to carry what you need for a short ride without wearing a pack.
FOX Suspension with GENIE Technology
A 160mm FOX FLOAT 36 Rhythm fork uses the GRIP damper and a two-position Sweep compression adjustment. Its sturdy 36mm chassis is a good match for the weight, speed and intended use of a full-power trail bike.
At the rear, the FOX FLOAT X Performance shock uses Specialized GENIE Shock Technology and a Ride Dynamics Trail Tune. GENIE is designed to provide a supple initial stroke for traction, useful support through the middle of the travel and better resistance to harsh bottom-outs.
The shock includes a two-position lever and low-speed rebound adjustment, making it straightforward to set up around rider weight and trail conditions.
SRAM Eagle AXS Transmission
The SRAM S1000 Eagle AXS Transmission combines a wireless AXS Pod controller with a rear derailleur powered directly by the Levo 4’s main battery. There is no gear cable and no separate removable AXS derailleur battery to charge.
The T-Type drivetrain is designed to shift cleanly under load, which is particularly useful when climbing on a full-power e-MTB. Its wide-range 10–52T cassette provides the gearing needed for steep and technical trails.
SRAM Maven Bronze Brakes
SRAM Maven Bronze four-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide the stopping power needed for a full-power e-MTB. A 220mm front rotor and 200mm rear rotor give the system plenty of leverage on steep descents and longer runs.
Mixed-Wheel Trail Handling
The Levo 4 uses a 29-inch front wheel and a 27.5-inch rear wheel. The larger front wheel improves rollover and confidence through rough ground, while the smaller rear wheel helps the bike change direction and gives the rider more clearance on steep terrain.
Specialized hookless alloy rims have a 30mm internal width and are tubeless ready. They are paired with GRID GRAVITY casing Butcher tyres in the soft GRIPTON T9 compound for strong cornering and braking grip.

Who Is It For?
The Turbo Levo 4 Comp Carbon is for trail riders who want the lighter, sharper feel of a carbon frame with the full power and battery capacity of the Levo 4 system. It is built for technical singletrack, steep climbs and longer rides where traction, control and range all matter.
It also suits riders who want the clean operation and precise shifting of SRAM AXS without having a separate derailleur battery to remove and charge.
Our Thoughts
The Comp Carbon is where the Levo 4 range starts to get particularly interesting. It uses the same FACT 11m frame, Specialized 3.1 Motor and 840Wh battery found on the more expensive carbon models, but keeps the overall build sensible.
The FOX 36 Rhythm and FLOAT X Performance GENIE combination gives the bike proper trail capability without adding adjustments most riders will rarely use. Maven Bronze brakes provide the power needed for a full-power e-MTB, while the SRAM S1000 Eagle AXS Transmission delivers clean electronic shifting under load.
Drawing derailleur power directly from the Levo’s main battery is a practical setup. The AXS Pod remains wireless, but there is no separate derailleur battery to monitor or forget to charge.
Compared with the Comp Alloy, you are mainly gaining the lighter FACT 11m carbon chassis and electronic AXS drivetrain. If those are priorities, the Comp Carbon is a strong step up without heading all the way to the Expert or Pro price level.
