The Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo 4 2026 sits at the top of the full-power Levo range. It combines the stronger S-Works 3.1 motor with a FACT 11m carbon chassis, FOX Factory suspension, SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission and Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels.
With 850W of peak power, 111Nm of torque and a removable 840Wh battery, it has the assistance and capacity needed for long days with plenty of climbing. The important part is how naturally that power reaches the trail, giving you useful support without making the bike difficult to control on steep or loose ground.
S-Works Power, Delivered Naturally
The Specialized S-Works 3.1 motor produces up to 850W of peak power and 111Nm of torque. It has more output than the standard Levo 4 motor, but the extra power is delivered progressively so the rear tyre can maintain traction when the climb becomes rough or technical.
Low-speed control is particularly good. The motor responds closely to your pedalling rather than surging unexpectedly, making it easier to work through rocks, roots and tight climbing turns.
840Wh Battery and Extendable Range
The removable 840Wh battery provides the capacity required for big trail rides. Specialized claims up to 5.33 hours of riding time when the bike is used with the optional 280Wh Range Extender, based on Eco mode, an 80kg rider and significant elevation gain.

FACT 11m Carbon Frame
The FACT 11m carbon chassis uses a carbon rear end and carbon shock extension, with 150mm of rear-wheel travel. It feels planted when the trail gets rough but remains manageable through tighter sections and direction changes.
Head angle, bottom-bracket height and chainstay length can all be adjusted. The standard position provides a well-balanced starting point, while the alternative settings let you prioritise stability, clearance or a more agile rear end.
FOX Factory Suspension with GENIE
A 160mm FOX 38 Factory fork provides the stiffness and control needed on steep, fast and rough trails. Its GRIP X2 damper offers separate high-speed and low-speed compression and rebound adjustment, giving experienced riders plenty of control over the setup.
At the rear, the FOX FLOAT X Factory shock uses Specialized GENIE technology to deliver more grip through the early part of the travel, useful mid-stroke support and better resistance to harsh bottom-outs. The result is a bike that tracks the ground well without feeling vague when pumping through rollers or pushing into corners.
SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission
SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission provides electronic 12-speed shifting with a wide 10–52T cassette. The derailleur is powered directly by the Levo’s main battery through an integrated wired connection, so there is no separate derailleur battery to remove or charge.
The handlebar-mounted AXS Pod communicates wirelessly, keeping the cockpit clean while providing light and consistent shift control. SRAM XX carbon cranks and a 34T T-Type chainring complete the drivetrain.
SRAM Maven Ultimate Brakes
SRAM Maven Ultimate four-piston brakes provide the power needed for a full-power e-MTB on long, steep descents. A 220mm front rotor and 200mm rear rotor help manage heat while giving the bike strong, predictable braking.
Roval Traverse HD Carbon Wheels
Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels are built around a 30mm internal rim width and DT Swiss 240 DEG hubs. They are designed for hard trail and enduro use, providing a strong platform for the wide GRID GRAVITY tyres.
The mixed-wheel setup uses a 29-inch front wheel for rollover and front-end confidence with a 27.5-inch rear wheel for clearance and easier manoeuvrability on steeper trails.
GRID GRAVITY Tyres
Specialized Butcher tyres are fitted front and rear with GRID GRAVITY casings, GRIPTON T9 rubber and tubeless-ready construction. They prioritise grip, braking control and casing support rather than low rolling weight, which suits the Levo’s speed and intended terrain.
MasterMind T3 Display
The MasterMind T3 system uses a 2.2-inch high-resolution colour display for ride data, battery information and system control. It works with the Specialized app for motor tuning, ride recording and system management.
Micro Tune allows support to be adjusted in 10% increments while riding. Dynamic Micro Tune gives you quick access to extra assistance when it is needed without requiring a permanent change to the selected support mode.
Smart Charging
The included Specialized 12A smart charger offers Standard, Fast, Eco and charge-to-80% modes. Under suitable conditions, Fast mode can charge the battery from zero to 80% in under an hour.
Eco charging and the 80% limit are useful when maximum charging speed or full battery capacity is not required.
SWAT E-MTB Storage
Weather-resistant SWAT storage inside the downtube provides space for tools, a tube and other trail essentials. It keeps the weight in the frame and means the basics can stay with the bike rather than being transferred between packs.
S-Sizing
Specialized S-Sizing allows you to choose a frame according to your height and the handling you prefer. A smaller size will generally feel easier to move around, while sizing up adds reach and high-speed stability.

Who Is It For?
The S-Works Turbo Levo 4 is for riders wanting a top-level full-power trail e-MTB without an immediate list of upgrades. Its suspension, wheels, drivetrain and brakes are ready for serious trail riding straight out of the box.
It is particularly well suited to riders tackling steep climbs, rough descents and long trail days. Riders who do not need the S-Works motor, Factory suspension or carbon wheels may find one of the lower-priced Levo 4 models offers better value.
Our Thoughts
The headline numbers are impressive, but this bike is not simply about having the most power. Its real strength is how well the motor, suspension and chassis work together. It climbs with plenty of support, stays composed when the trail gets rough and does not feel like the motor is constantly trying to overpower the rear tyre.
The S-Works specification is properly high-end. FOX Factory suspension gives you a wide adjustment range, the Maven Ultimate brakes suit the speed and weight of the bike and the Roval carbon wheels keep the build sharp and responsive.
It is an expensive bike, but there are no obvious weak links in the build. For someone wanting the highest-spec Levo 4 with the stronger S-Works motor, this is the complete package.
