Specialized Levo 4 EVO Comp Alloy
The Specialized Levo 4 EVO Comp Alloy is a long-travel electric enduro bike for riders tackling steep, rough and demanding terrain. Its full-power Specialized 3.1 motor, 840Wh battery and durable M5 alloy frame are paired with 180mm front and 170mm rear travel, giving it the power, range and control needed for big trail days, repeated descents and technical backcountry riding.
Full Power for Steep Terrain
The Specialized 3.1 motor delivers up to 105Nm of torque and 810 watts of peak power. This gives the Levo 4 EVO the support needed for steep climbs, technical approaches and repeated laps without making its assistance feel difficult to control.
Support can be adjusted through the Specialized app, allowing riders to tune the motor’s response, assistance and battery use according to the terrain. The MasterMind TCU provides a clear 2.2-inch display, customisable ride information and Apple Find My compatibility.
Range for Bigger Rides
The fully integrated 840Wh battery provides the capacity needed for long trail rides and elevation-heavy days. Riders can balance assistance and range using the motor’s support settings rather than carrying more battery than they need for shorter rides.
An optional Range Extender can increase riding time further, with up to five hours of riding possible under suitable conditions. Actual range will vary according to terrain, rider weight, assistance level, elevation and riding conditions.
Long-Travel Enduro Control
A RockShox ZEB Select fork provides 180mm of travel, giving the front wheel the support and steering accuracy needed on steep descents, larger impacts and rough repeated hits. Its Linear XL spring and Delta RC damper are designed to provide consistent control without requiring an overly complicated setup.
At the rear, the RockShox Vivid Select Air shock controls 170mm of travel. The Linear XL spring helps the suspension remain active over rough ground, while rebound adjustment and a climb switch allow the setup to be tuned for the rider and terrain.
Adjustable EVO Geometry
The Levo 4 EVO allows riders to adjust the head-tube angle, bottom-bracket position and chainstay length. These adjustments make it possible to prioritise high-speed stability, tighter handling or additional ground clearance.
A longer and slacker setup suits steep, open terrain, while a shorter or higher configuration can make the bike easier to manage on tighter trails. This useful adjustability allows the bike to be tuned without replacing major components.
Mechanical SRAM Transmission
SRAM Eagle 90 T-Type provides a durable mechanical drivetrain built around SRAM’s full-mount Transmission design. It is designed to shift consistently under pedalling load, which is particularly useful when climbing technical terrain on a full-power e-MTB.
The 10–52T cassette provides the range needed for steep climbs, while the single-click shifter helps reduce unnecessary multiple shifts under motor load. Mechanical operation also means there is no derailleur battery to charge.
Braking and Tyres for Serious Descents
SRAM Maven Bronze four-piston brakes use 220mm front and rear rotors to provide the power and heat management needed on long, steep descents. Strong braking reduces the effort required at the lever and helps the rider maintain better control as speed increases.
A Butcher GRID Gravity T9 front tyre provides cornering and braking grip, while the Cannibal GRID Gravity T9 rear tyre is designed for control on steep and loose terrain. Both use reinforced gravity casings and tubeless-ready construction for the durability expected from an electric enduro bike.

Why Riders Love the Specialized Levo 4 EVO Comp Alloy
The Specialized Levo 4 EVO Comp Alloy is built for riders who value descending control, powerful assistance and the ability to cover substantial terrain in a single ride. Its alloy frame and carefully selected components favour durability and confident performance over unnecessary weight savings.
Powerful Climbing Support
The 3.1 motor provides the torque needed for steep climbs and technical approaches, allowing riders to conserve energy for the descents.
Long-Travel Confidence
The combination of a 180mm ZEB fork and 170mm rear travel helps the bike remain composed through rocks, braking bumps and larger impacts.
Adjustable Handling
Multiple geometry adjustments allow the rider to tune stability, agility and pedal clearance according to their trails and preferences.
Mechanical Simplicity
SRAM Eagle 90 provides T-Type shifting performance without derailleur batteries, electronic controls or charging requirements.
Controlled Braking
Maven four-piston brakes and 220mm rotors provide the stopping power needed to manage a full-power e-MTB on sustained descents.
Gravity-Focused Grip
Butcher and Cannibal GRID Gravity tyres provide the casing support and traction needed for steep, loose and technical terrain.
Useful Frame Storage
The internal SWAT compartment provides space for tools, a tube and other essentials without requiring an additional frame bag.

Our Thoughts on the Specialized Levo 4 EVO Comp Alloy
The Specialized Levo 4 EVO Comp Alloy is the model for riders who find the standard Levo capable but want more support and stability for genuinely demanding terrain. The longer ZEB fork, Vivid shock and gravity-focused tyres make a meaningful difference when the trail becomes steep, rough or fast.
The 3.1 motor and 840Wh battery provide the power and capacity expected from a modern full-power e-MTB, while the mechanical Eagle 90 drivetrain is a practical choice for riders who value straightforward servicing. SRAM Maven brakes with 220mm rotors are also appropriate for the weight and descending potential of the bike.
At 26.92kg, the Levo 4 EVO Comp Alloy is not intended to feel like a lightweight trail bike. Its priorities are stability, durability and control. For riders who spend most of their time on ordinary flowing trails, the standard Levo may remain the more agile option. If your riding regularly includes steep technical descents, larger impacts and demanding enduro terrain, the additional travel and stronger component package make the EVO the better choice.
