No-Compromise Electric Enduro
The Specialized Turbo Levo 4 EVO Pro 2027 is built for steep terrain, high-speed descending and riders who regularly push beyond ordinary trail-bike territory. It combines a FACT 11m carbon frame with 180mm of front travel, 170mm of rear travel and a premium component package chosen for hard electric all-mountain riding.
The Specialized 3.1 motor delivers up to 810W of peak power and 105Nm of torque, while the 840Wh battery provides the capacity required for long climbs and repeated descents. RockShox Ultimate suspension, SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission, Maven Silver brakes and Traverse HD carbon wheels make this the top long-travel Levo 4 EVO build.
Full Power for Steep Terrain
The Specialized 3.1 motor provides the support needed for technical climbing, long transfers and bike-park laps without relying on an uplift. Its 810W peak output and 105Nm of torque are delivered progressively, helping the rear tyre find grip instead of spinning as soon as the ground becomes loose or awkward.
Motor support can be tuned through the Specialized app. The MasterMind TCU uses a 2.2-inch high-resolution display for assistance settings, battery information and ride data, while Apple Find My compatibility adds a useful location feature.
840Wh Battery and Extendable Range
The integrated 840Wh battery provides the capacity required for big days with plenty of climbing. Specialized claims up to five hours of riding when the bike is used with the optional 280Wh Range Extender under its specified test conditions.
Adding the Range Extender increases total available capacity to 1,120Wh. View the Specialized Levo 4 Full Power Range Extender.
Actual riding time will vary with assistance level, terrain, elevation, rider weight, temperature and riding conditions.
FACT 11m Carbon EVO Frame
The FACT 11m carbon chassis provides the strength and stiffness needed for aggressive e-MTB riding while keeping the complete bike’s claimed weight to 24.4kg in size S4.
The frame delivers 170mm of rear-wheel travel and uses sealed cartridge bearings through the suspension pivots. Internal SWAT storage provides space for tools, a tube and other trail essentials inside the downtube.
RockShox ZEB Ultimate Fork
The 180mm RockShox ZEB Ultimate provides the stiffness and support required for steep descents, hard braking and repeated large impacts. Its Charger 3.2 damper offers separate high-speed compression, low-speed compression and rebound adjustment.
The Linear XL air spring, ButterCups and adjustable bottom-out control help the fork remain sensitive over smaller trail chatter while retaining support through compressions and larger hits.
RockShox Vivid Ultimate Rear Shock
The RockShox Vivid Ultimate Air shock controls 170mm of rear-wheel travel. Its Linear XL air spring is designed to remain active over rough ground without losing support when the bike is pushed hard through turns and compressions.
The RCT2 damper provides high-speed compression, low-speed compression, hydraulic bottom-out and rebound adjustment. This gives experienced riders a broad tuning range for different terrain and riding styles.
Adjustable EVO Geometry
The Levo 4 EVO allows the head angle and chainstay length to be adjusted. This gives riders meaningful control over stability, agility and the way the rear of the bike behaves through steep or tight terrain.
A longer and slacker setup suits fast, open trails where stability matters most. A shorter configuration makes the bike easier to move around through tighter sections and quick direction changes.
SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission
SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission provides electronic 12-speed shifting through SRAM’s full-mount derailleur design. It is built to shift consistently under pedalling load, which is especially useful when climbing technical terrain with motor assistance.
The AXS Pod controller communicates wirelessly, while the derailleur draws its operating power from the Levo’s main battery through an integrated connection. There is no separate derailleur battery to remove or charge.
The drivetrain uses a 10–52T X0 cassette, X0 Flattop chain, 155mm alloy cranks and a 34T T-Type chainring.
SRAM Maven Silver Brakes
SRAM Maven Silver four-piston brakes are paired with 220mm rotors at both ends. This gives the Levo EVO Pro the braking power and heat management required for long, steep and demanding descents.
Reach and contact-point adjustment make it easier to set the levers for the rider, while the large rotors reduce the amount of hand effort needed to control speed.
Traverse HD Carbon Wheels
Specialized Traverse HD carbon wheels are built around 30mm internal-width rims and DT Swiss 350 hubs. They provide a strong, precise wheelset suited to hard enduro riding without adding unnecessary weight.
The mixed-wheel setup uses a 29-inch front wheel for rollover and steering confidence with a 27.5-inch rear wheel for clearance and easier manoeuvrability through tight or steep terrain.
Gravity-Focused Tyres
A Specialized Butcher GRID GRAVITY T9 tyre provides cornering and braking grip at the front. At the rear, the Cannibal GRID GRAVITY T9 is designed for traction and control on steep, loose terrain.
Both tyres use reinforced gravity casings and tubeless-ready construction. They prioritise grip and casing support rather than low weight or minimal rolling resistance, which is the right choice for this bike.
Premium Contact Points
A wide Deity Speedway carbon handlebar and short Deity stem provide plenty of leverage through steep and rough sections. Deity Lockjaw grips complete the cockpit.
The BikeYoke Revive Max 3.0 dropper uses size-specific travel, while the Specialized Bridge Expert saddle combines MIMIC construction with hollow titanium rails.
Smart Control and Security
The MasterMind TCU provides clear access to assistance modes, battery status and ride information. Through the Specialized app, riders can tune motor support, customise the display, record rides and manage the Turbo system.
Turbo System Lock can disable motor support when the bike is parked, while Apple Find My compatibility provides an additional way to keep track of the bike.
Charging Options
A Specialized 4A charger is included with the bike. The optional 12A, 700W Smart Charger can charge the 840Wh battery from zero to 80% in under an hour under suitable conditions. The 12A Smart Charger is sold separately.

Who Is It For?
The Levo 4 EVO Pro is well suited to:
- Aggressive electric enduro and all-mountain riding
- Steep and technical trails
- High-speed descending
- Rough natural terrain
- Long and sustained descents
- Repeated bike-park laps without an uplift
- Riders wanting premium suspension with extensive adjustment
- Riders who want electronic SRAM Transmission
- Riders wanting carbon wheels as part of the standard build
This bike is built around descending control rather than minimum weight or cross-country efficiency. Riders spending most of their time on smoother, flowing trails may prefer the standard Levo 4 with 160/150mm travel.
Our Thoughts
The Levo 4 EVO Pro is the model for riders who want the full long-travel package without working through a list of upgrades. The RockShox Ultimate suspension provides considerably more adjustment than the Select-level equipment on the Comp, while the carbon wheels reduce weight and sharpen the bike’s response.
The ZEB and Vivid combination suits the Levo EVO particularly well. There is plenty of support for riding hard, but both ends can still be tuned for grip and comfort on rough natural trails. Maven Silver brakes with 220mm rotors are also appropriate for the bike’s speed and intended use.
The standard Levo remains the better all-rounder for mixed trail riding. If steep descents, rough enduro terrain and bike-park laps make up most of your riding, the EVO Pro is the more capable choice.
