Where Super Meets Natural
The Specialized S-Works Turbo Levo 4 2027 combines the strongest Levo motor with a 900Wh battery, RockShox Ultimate suspension, SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission and Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels.
The S-Works 3.1 motor produces up to 850W of peak power and 111Nm of torque, but the headline figures only tell part of the story. Its smooth response makes that power easier to use on loose, steep and technical climbs, while the FACT 11m carbon chassis and GENIE suspension keep the bike composed when the trail points back down.
S-Works Power and Control
The S-Works 3.1 motor provides more power and torque than the standard Levo 4 motor. Its 850W peak output gives you plenty of support on long climbs, while 111Nm of torque helps the bike work through steep pitches and slower technical sections.
Power delivery remains progressive rather than abrupt. This helps the rear tyre maintain grip through rocks, roots and loose turns where an uncontrolled burst of assistance can quickly lead to wheelspin.
900Wh Battery and Extendable Range
The removable 900Wh battery is built for long trail days with plenty of climbing. Specialized claims up to 4.63 hours of riding time when the bike is used with the optional 280Wh Range Extender, based on Eco mode, an 80kg rider and significant elevation gain.
Adding the Range Extender increases total available capacity to 1,180Wh. View the Specialized Levo 4 Full Power Range Extender.
Actual riding time will vary with assistance level, terrain, climbing, rider weight, trail conditions, temperature and bike setup.
FACT 11m Carbon Frame
The FACT 11m carbon chassis uses a carbon rear end and carbon suspension link, with 150mm of rear-wheel travel. It is built to handle hard trail and enduro riding while maintaining the precision and direct feel expected from an S-Works frame.
Head angle, bottom-bracket height and chainstay length can all be adjusted. This lets you tune the bike for a more stable high-speed feel, extra clearance or a more agile rear end.
RockShox ZEB Ultimate Fork
The 160mm RockShox ZEB Ultimate gives the front of the bike the stiffness and control needed for fast, rough terrain. Its Charger 3.2 damper provides adjustable high-speed compression, low-speed compression and rebound.
The Linear XL air spring, ButterCups and adjustable bottom-out control help the fork remain sensitive over smaller trail chatter while still providing the support needed for hard braking, compressions and larger impacts.
Super Deluxe Ultimate GENIE Suspension
The RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock uses Specialized GENIE technology to combine small-bump grip with strong mid-stroke support and better resistance to harsh bottom-outs.
Its RC2T damper provides separate high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment along with rebound control. This gives experienced riders plenty of scope to match the suspension to their weight, pace and local trails.
SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission
SRAM XX Eagle AXS Transmission provides electronic 12-speed shifting with a wide 10–52T cassette. The derailleur draws power directly from the Levo’s main battery through an integrated wired connection, so there is no separate derailleur battery to remove or charge.
The handlebar-mounted AXS Pod communicates wirelessly, keeping the cockpit clean while providing light and consistent shift control. SRAM XX carbon cranks and a 34T T-Type chainring complete the drivetrain.
SRAM Maven Ultimate Brakes
SRAM Maven Ultimate four-piston brakes provide the power and heat management required for a full-power e-MTB on long, steep descents. A 220mm front rotor and 200mm rear rotor deliver strong braking without requiring excessive lever effort.
Roval Traverse HD Carbon Wheels
Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels use 30mm internal-width hookless rims and DT Swiss 240 hubs. They provide a strong, precise platform for aggressive trail riding while remaining tubeless ready.
The mixed-wheel setup combines a 29-inch front wheel for rollover and front-end confidence with a 27.5-inch rear wheel for clearance and easier manoeuvrability on steep or tight trails.
Butcher GRID GRAVITY Radial Tyres
Specialized Butcher GRID GRAVITY Radial tyres are fitted front and rear in a 2.4-inch width. Their Radial construction allows the casing to conform more readily to the ground, helping the tyre maintain grip over rough and uneven surfaces.
The tough GRID GRAVITY casings, soft GRIPTON T9 compound and tubeless-ready construction suit the speed, weight and intended use of the Levo.
MasterMind Control
The MasterMind TCU uses a 2.2-inch high-resolution display to show battery status, support mode and ride information. It connects to the Specialized app for motor tuning, system management and ride recording, and also supports Apple Find My.
Micro Tune allows assistance to be adjusted in 10% increments while riding, making it easier to balance support, grip and battery consumption as the terrain changes.
Smart Charging
The included Specialized 12A smart charger offers Standard, Fast, Eco and charge-to-80% modes. Under suitable conditions, Fast mode can charge the battery from zero to 80% in under an hour.
Eco charging and the 80% charge limit are useful when maximum charging speed or a completely full battery is not required.
SWAT E-MTB Storage
Weather-resistant SWAT storage inside the downtube provides space for tools, a tube and other trail essentials. It keeps the weight low in the frame and means the basics can remain with the bike between rides.
S-Sizing
Specialized S-Sizing allows you to choose a frame based on both your height and preferred handling. A smaller size will generally feel easier to move around, while sizing up provides more reach and high-speed stability.
Contact Chain Reaction if you would like help choosing between sizes. We can consider your height, current bike, riding position and the type of trails you normally ride.

Who Is It For?
The S-Works Turbo Levo 4 is for riders who want the strongest Levo motor and a top-level component package ready for demanding trail and enduro riding.
It makes sense for riders who will benefit from the adjustment offered by RockShox Ultimate suspension, the grip and strength of the GRID GRAVITY Radial tyres and the precision of carbon wheels. If those parts are more than you need, one of the lower-priced Levo 4 models may provide better value.
Our Thoughts
This is the most complete Levo 4 build in the range. The 900Wh battery is a worthwhile step for riders regularly doing big days, while the S-Works motor has enough torque to deal with properly steep and technical climbing.
The move to RockShox Ultimate suspension gives the 2027 bike a wide tuning range. The ZEB is a good match for the speed and weight of the bike, and the GENIE-equipped Super Deluxe provides plenty of grip without losing support through turns and compressions.
It is a serious investment, but there are no obvious parts that need changing. The drivetrain, brakes, wheels, suspension and contact points are all appropriate for a top-level full-power e-MTB.
