This is a full-power e-MTB made for riders who value speed, precision and lively handling. Its 140/130mm chassis sits between an XC bike and a longer-travel trail bike, giving it the efficiency to cover ground quickly without losing the control needed for rough, technical trails.
The 600Wh battery reduces weight compared with the larger Levo battery options, while the S-Works 3.1 motor still delivers up to 850 watts and 111Nm. The Ultralight Levo R
At a claimed 18.8kg, the Ultralight is the lightest complete Levo R build. That reduced weight can be felt everywhere: lifting the front wheel, picking a line through roots, carrying speed through corners and responding to quick changes in direction.
This is not simply a lightweight component package fitted to a standard trail bike. The FACT 11m carbon chassis, 29-inch wheels and XC Trail geometry are designed around a fast, direct style of riding.
S-Works SuperNatural Power
The S-Works Specialized 3.1 motor delivers up to 850 watts of peak power and 111Nm of torque. There is plenty of assistance for steep climbs, but the real strength of the system is how smoothly that power reaches the rear tyre.
The bike uses a lighter 600Wh battery, providing up to 3.36 hours of claimed riding time under Specialized’s stated test conditions. Riders planning longer backcountry rides can add the optional Specialized Levo 4 Full Power Range Extender.
Actual riding time will depend on assistance level, rider weight, elevation, trail conditions, temperature and how hard the motor is being used.
Fast, Precise Carbon Chassis
The FACT 11m carbon frame provides the stiffness and precision expected from an S-Works build without making the bike feel dull or difficult to place. Adjustable geometry allows the handling to be tuned around the rider and terrain.
Integrated SWAT storage provides room for essential tools and trail supplies inside the frame, helping keep weight off the rider and leaving the bike ready for longer rides.
FOX Factory Suspension
A 140mm FOX 36 SL Factory fork keeps the front of the bike light and accurate while providing enough support for aggressive trail riding. The GRIP damper gives riders useful adjustment without taking away from the bike’s efficient character.
At the rear, the 130mm FOX FLOAT Factory shock uses Specialized’s GENIE air-spring technology. It is designed to provide sensitivity and traction early in the travel, useful support through the middle and better resistance to harsh bottom-outs when the trail gets rough.
XX SL Eagle Transmission with Main-Battery Power
The SRAM XX SL Eagle Transmission provides electronic shifting with a strong, direct interface between the derailleur and frame. It is designed to shift reliably under load, which is particularly useful when climbing with full motor assistance.
The derailleur uses hot-shoe power drawn from the bike’s main e-bike battery. There is no separate removable SRAM AXS derailleur battery to charge or keep track of.
Roval Control SL VI Wheels
Roval Control SL VI carbon wheels help give the Ultralight its quick acceleration and precise steering. Their low rotating weight suits the bike’s fast XC Trail character, while the Solix hubs provide responsive engagement when getting back on the pedals.
The dedicated 29-inch wheel platform keeps the bike rolling efficiently and carries speed well across roots, rocks and broken trail surfaces.

Our Thoughts
The Ultralight is the Levo R at its most focused. It still has the power to deal with properly steep terrain, but its low weight makes it feel far closer to a high-end analogue trail bike when the trail points down or starts twisting through tight terrain.
The 600Wh battery is a deliberate performance choice. It trims meaningful weight and gives the bike its lively character, while Range Extender compatibility leaves an option for bigger days. For riders chasing the longest possible range, another Levo R build may make more sense. For riders chasing outright speed and handling, this is the standout option.
