Full-Power Levo 4 Performance at the Most Accessible Price
The Specialized Turbo Levo 4 Alloy brings the power, range and adjustable handling of the Levo 4 platform to a tough, practical M5 Alloy build. It uses the same Specialized 3.1 Motor and 840 Wh battery as the higher-level models, backed by 160/150 mm suspension travel, mixed wheels and a dependable SRAM Eagle 70 mechanical drivetrain.
With up to 810 W of peak power and 105 Nm of torque, the motor has plenty in reserve for steep climbs. Marzocchi suspension, four-piston SRAM brakes and gravity-ready Specialized tyres give the bike a sensible specification for regular trail riding.
Specialized 3.1 Motor
The Specialized 3.1 Motor delivers up to 810 W of peak power and 105 Nm of torque. There is plenty of assistance for steep and technical climbing, but the way that power is delivered matters just as much as the headline figures.
Power builds smoothly, making it easier to maintain rear-wheel traction on loose ground and control the bike through awkward low-speed sections. Assistance settings can be adjusted through the Specialized app to suit the terrain and length of the ride.
840 Wh Battery for Longer Rides
The integrated 840 Wh battery provides up to 5.33 hours of claimed riding time. Actual ride time depends on the assistance mode, rider weight, elevation, trail conditions, temperature and how much effort the rider contributes.
That large battery capacity makes the Levo 4 Alloy well suited to longer trail rides and days involving repeated climbing.
Optional 280 Wh Range Extender
For bigger days, the Levo 4 is compatible with the Specialized Levo 4 Full Power 280 Wh Range Extender, sold separately.
Used with the standard 840 Wh battery, the Range Extender increases total available capacity to 1,120 Wh. This allows you to add extra capacity when it is needed without carrying it on shorter rides.
MasterMind T3 Display
The MasterMind T3 system uses a 2.2-inch high-resolution colour display to show ride and system information clearly. The display can be customised through the Specialized app, allowing you to choose which information is shown while riding.
The system also supports motor tuning, ride recording, Turbo System Lock and Apple Find My integration.
Premium M5 Alloy Frame
The M5 Alloy frame provides 150 mm of rear-wheel travel and uses a side-entry battery design. Sealed cartridge-bearing pivots and SRAM UDH compatibility help make it a practical platform for regular trail use.
Its head-tube angle, bottom-bracket height and chainstay length can be adjusted, giving riders useful control over the way the bike handles. The frame is also compatible with forks offering up to 180 mm of travel.
Downtube SWAT Storage
Weather-resistant SWAT storage is built into the downtube, providing space for tools and basic trail essentials. It is useful for shorter rides when you want to carry the essentials without wearing a pack.
Marzocchi Trail Suspension
The Marzocchi Bomber Z1 is a well-proven trail fork with a sturdy chassis and straightforward adjustments. It provides 160 mm of travel on sizes S2–S6, while the S1 uses 150 mm to maintain balanced handling for smaller riders.
At the rear, the Marzocchi Bomber Inline shock controls 150 mm of travel. It uses an EVOL LV air sleeve with rebound adjustment, giving the Levo the comfort and control needed for rough trail riding without adding unnecessary complication.
The rear shock may be upgraded or replaced with an equivalent component by the manufacturer depending on production availability.
SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type Mechanical Drivetrain
The SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type mechanical drivetrain is designed to shift cleanly under load, which is particularly valuable on a full-power e-MTB. Its wide-range 10–52T cassette provides the gearing needed for steep climbs.
Cable-operated shifting keeps adjustment and servicing straightforward, while the single-click shifter helps reduce rough multi-gear shifts under motor load.
SRAM DB8 Stealth Brakes
SRAM DB8 Stealth four-piston hydraulic brakes provide dependable stopping power using mineral oil. A large 220 mm front rotor and 200 mm rear rotor give the braking system the leverage needed to manage the speed and weight of a full-power e-MTB.
Mixed-Wheel Trail Handling
The Levo 4 uses a 29-inch front wheel and 27.5-inch rear wheel. The larger front wheel improves rollover and confidence through rough sections, while the smaller rear wheel keeps the bike easier to manoeuvre through corners and on steep trails.
The Specialized alloy rims have a 30 mm internal width and are tubeless ready. They are paired with GRID GRAVITY casing Butcher tyres in the soft GRIPTON T9 compound for strong braking and cornering grip.

Who Is It For?
The Turbo Levo 4 Alloy is for riders who want the motor, battery and handling features of the Levo 4 platform at a more accessible price. It is a good fit for regular trail riding, long days with plenty of climbing and riders moving into their first serious full-power e-MTB.
The aluminium frame and mechanical drivetrain also make sense for riders who value durability and straightforward servicing over having the lightest frame or electronic shifting.
Our Thoughts
The Levo 4 Alloy gets the important parts right. It has the same 810 W and 105 Nm motor, 840 Wh battery, adjustable M5 Alloy chassis, mixed-wheel layout and SWAT storage found further up the range.
The Marzocchi suspension is a sensible match for the bike. The Bomber Z1 has a strong chassis and simple adjustments, while the Bomber Inline shock provides enough control for everyday trail riding. SRAM Eagle 70 also brings the load-shifting benefits of T-Type to a mechanical drivetrain that is straightforward to maintain.
The Comp Alloy adds FOX suspension, GENIE technology, Eagle 90 and Maven brakes, but the standard Alloy still delivers the core Levo 4 experience. For riders who want full-power trail capability and would rather upgrade parts over time, this is a strong place to start.
