The 2027 Specialized Turbo Levo 4 Pro is a high-spec full-power electric trail bike built around a FACT 11m carbon frame, Specialized 3.1 Motor and 840Wh battery. It combines a 160mm RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork with a 150mm Super Deluxe Ultimate GENIE shock, giving experienced riders the adjustment and control needed for fast, technical terrain.
SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission, Maven Silver brakes, Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels and 2.4-inch Butcher radial tyres complete a premium build designed for riders who push hard on rough trails.
Specialized 3.1 Motor
The Specialized 3.1 Motor delivers up to 810W of peak power and 105Nm of torque. It has the strength for steep, technical climbs but applies that assistance progressively, helping the rear tyre maintain grip through loose corners and awkward low-speed sections.
Motor support can be adjusted through the Specialized app. Micro Tune and Dynamic Micro Tune provide finer control when you want to change assistance without making a large jump between the main support modes.
840Wh Integrated Battery
The Levo 4 Pro comes with an integrated 840Wh battery. Its side-entry design makes removal more convenient, while the large capacity is well suited to long trail rides and days with repeated climbing.
Actual riding time varies with the assistance mode, rider weight, elevation, trail conditions, temperature, tyre pressure and how much effort the rider contributes.
Optional 280Wh Range Extender
For bigger days, the Levo 4 Pro is compatible with the Specialized Levo 4 Full Power 280Wh Range Extender, sold separately.
Combining the Range Extender with the standard 840Wh battery provides up to 1,120Wh of onboard capacity and up to five hours of claimed riding time. Actual range depends on the assistance mode, rider weight, terrain and riding conditions.
Optional Specialized Super Charger
The bike includes a Specialized 4A charger. The faster Specialized Super Charger is sold separately and can charge a compatible battery from 0–80% in under an hour.
MasterMind T3 Display
The MasterMind T3 system uses a 2.2-inch high-resolution colour screen to show ride and e-bike information clearly. It can be customised through the Specialized app so you can choose which data is displayed while riding.
The system supports ride recording, motor tuning, Turbo System Lock and Apple Find My integration. Micro Tune allows support to be adjusted in 10% increments.
FACT 11m Carbon Frame
The Levo 4 Pro uses a FACT 11m carbon chassis with 150mm of rear-wheel travel. The frame includes a side-entry battery, adjustable geometry and internal SWAT e-MTB storage.
Specialized S-Sizing allows riders to choose a frame around their preferred handling rather than relying only on inseam length. A smaller size will generally feel more manoeuvrable, while a larger size provides more room and stability.
Adjustable Trail Geometry
The Levo 4 allows the head-tube angle, bottom-bracket height and chainstay length to be adjusted. This gives riders useful control over the bike’s handling rather than locking them into one factory setting.
The bike can be configured for a more responsive trail feel or adjusted for additional stability on steep, high-speed terrain. The frame is compatible with forks offering up to 180mm of travel.
Downtube SWAT E-MTB Storage
Weather-resistant SWAT storage is built into the downtube, providing space for tools and basic trail essentials. It is a practical way to carry what you need for a shorter ride without wearing a pack.
RockShox ZEB Ultimate Fork
The 160mm RockShox ZEB Ultimate uses the new Linear XL air spring with ButterCups and adjustable bottom-out control. Its strong chassis is well suited to the speed, weight and braking loads of a full-power e-MTB.
The Charger 3.2 damper provides separate high-speed and low-speed compression adjustments along with rebound control. This gives experienced riders the ability to tune support, grip and impact control around their terrain and riding style.
Super Deluxe Ultimate with GENIE
At the rear, the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate uses Specialized GENIE Shock Technology to control 150mm of travel.
GENIE uses a dual-air-spring design to keep the initial portion of the travel supple, helping the rear wheel follow the ground and maintain traction. Deeper in the stroke, it builds support and bottom-out resistance for larger impacts.
The RC2T damper provides low-speed and high-speed compression adjustment along with rebound control. The GENIE air spring can also be adjusted to fine-tune the bike’s support and progression.
SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission
SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission provides precise electronic shifting with a wireless AXS Pod controller. The T-Type system is designed to shift cleanly under load, which is particularly useful when climbing on a full-power e-MTB.
The drivetrain uses a wide-range 10–52T cassette, X0 Flattop chain and X0 alloy cranks with short 155mm arms for improved ground clearance on technical trails.
SRAM Maven Silver Brakes
SRAM Maven Silver four-piston hydraulic disc brakes provide the power needed for steep and sustained descents. This 2027 build uses large 220mm rotors at both ends, giving the braking system plenty of leverage and heat capacity.
Roval Traverse HD Carbon Wheels
The Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels use 30mm internal-width rims paired with proven DT Swiss 350 hubs. The mixed-wheel configuration combines a 29-inch front wheel for rollover and stability with a 27.5-inch rear wheel for manoeuvrability and clearance on steep terrain.
The rims are tubeless ready and built for aggressive trail use rather than simply chasing the lowest possible weight.
Butcher GRID GRAVITY Radial Tyres
The 2027 Pro uses 2.4-inch Specialized Butcher tyres with GRID GRAVITY casings, radial construction and the soft GRIPTON T9 compound.
The radial casing is designed to allow the tyre to conform more readily to the ground, improving grip and control on rough surfaces. The GRID GRAVITY construction provides the casing support and protection needed for a full-power trail bike.
Premium Contact Points
The Levo 4 Pro is finished with a RaceFace Era carbon handlebar, RaceFace stem, Deity Lockjaw grips and a Specialized Bridge Expert saddle with MIMIC and hollow titanium rails.
A BikeYoke Revive Max 3.0 dropper provides size-specific travel, including up to 213mm on the largest available frame.

Who Is It For?
The 2027 Turbo Levo 4 Pro is for experienced riders who want a premium full-power e-MTB with the suspension control, braking performance and wheel quality needed for fast, technical trail riding.
The RockShox Ultimate suspension offers a wide adjustment range, so it makes the most sense for riders who are comfortable tuning their setup or who want help from an experienced workshop to get it dialled in properly.
It also suits riders who want carbon wheels and X0 AXS Transmission without moving to the additional cost of the complete S-Works build.
Our Thoughts
The move to RockShox Ultimate suspension gives the 2027 Pro a different character from the earlier FOX-equipped version. The ZEB Ultimate provides a strong front end, while the new Linear XL air spring, Charger 3.2 damper and adjustable bottom-out control give riders plenty of scope to tune the fork.
The Super Deluxe Ultimate GENIE shock brings the same focus to the rear of the bike. Its RC2T damper is useful for riders who understand what they want from their suspension, but we would recommend taking the time to set it up correctly rather than simply riding it with the factory settings.
The 2.4-inch radial Butcher tyres are another meaningful update. They increase the tyre’s ability to conform to rough ground, while the GRID GRAVITY casings provide the support needed for aggressive e-MTB riding.
With Roval Traverse HD carbon wheels, X0 AXS Transmission and Maven Silver brakes with 220mm rotors at both ends, the Pro has a properly high-end build without relying on decorative upgrades.
