The Specialized Turbo Levo R Pro takes the full-power assistance of the Levo 4 platform and puts it into a lighter, sharper chassis built for fast trail riding.
With 140mm of front travel and 130mm at the rear, it has enough suspension for technical terrain without losing the responsive feel that separates the Levo R from a longer-travel full-power e-MTB.
It accelerates quickly, changes direction easily and feels properly connected to the trail. There is still plenty of motor and battery capacity for big climbing days, but the standout feature is how naturally the bike carries speed across varied terrain.
The Rally Car of E-MTBs
The Levo R uses the same full-power Turbo foundation as the Levo 4, but its intent is different. The lower-travel chassis, rally-focused geometry and carefully chosen components make it noticeably more responsive than a conventional long-travel e-MTB.
Specialized offers Levo R builds as light as 18.8kg, but that figure applies to the separate S-Works Ultralight model. This Pro build has a claimed weight of 22.58kg in size S3 and includes the larger 840Wh battery, Ultimate-level RockShox suspension and sturdy Maven brakes.
This is Electric Rally: fast on climbs, precise through corners and keen to carry speed whenever the trail opens up.
Specialized 3.1 Full-Power System
The Specialized 3.1 motor delivers up to 810 watts of peak power and 105Nm of torque. Power comes in smoothly and predictably, making it easier to hold traction on loose climbs and control the bike through awkward technical sections.
Rather than simply delivering a hard surge of assistance, the system monitors rider input and adjusts its support to suit the situation. This gives the Levo R serious climbing power without making it difficult to manage.
840Wh Battery and Configurable Range
The integrated 840Wh battery provides the capacity needed for long trail rides and repeated climbing.
The optional 280Wh Range Extender increases total available capacity to 1,120Wh and provides up to five hours of claimed riding time. Actual range will depend on assistance mode, rider weight, terrain, elevation, temperature and riding conditions.

A Specialized 12A Smart Charger is included. It offers Standard, Fast, Eco and charge-to-80% modes and can charge the 840Wh battery from 0–80% in under an hour when the appropriate fast-charging mode is used.
The MasterMind TCU has a clear 2.2-inch display and connects with the Specialized app, allowing you to customise assistance, monitor ride information and manage the Turbo system. Apple Find My compatibility and Turbo System Lock provide useful additional security.
FACT 11m Carbon Rally Chassis
The FACT 11m carbon frame has 130mm of rear-wheel travel, adjustable geometry and internal SWAT storage in the downtube. It keeps the bike responsive without giving up the strength needed for aggressive trail riding.
The Levo R places the rider in a forward, centred position that helps the front wheel hold a line through corners and keeps the bike balanced when climbing.
Internal SWAT storage provides space for trailside repair essentials without needing to carry everything in your pockets or riding pack.
RockShox Ultimate Suspension with GENIE
The RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork provides 140mm of travel and uses the new LinearXL air spring with ButterCups, adjustable bottom-out control and a Charger 3.2 damper. High-speed compression, low-speed compression and rebound adjustments allow the fork to be properly tuned for the rider and terrain.
At the rear, the RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock combines an RC2T damper with Specialized’s GENIE air-spring system. Separate high-speed and low-speed compression adjustments provide plenty of setup control.
GENIE keeps the beginning of the stroke supple for traction, adds support through the middle of the travel and increases resistance as the shock approaches bottom-out. The result is a 130mm bike that handles bigger impacts better than the travel figure might suggest.
SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission
SRAM X0 Eagle AXS Transmission provides precise electronic shifting with a wide 10–52T cassette. The direct-mount derailleur is designed to shift under load, which is especially useful on a full-power e-MTB where the motor and rider can place considerable pressure through the drivetrain.
The handlebar controller communicates wirelessly, while the derailleur draws power from the bike’s main electrical system. There is no separate derailleur battery to remove and charge.
Powerful SRAM Maven Brakes
SRAM Maven Silver four-piston brakes are paired with 200mm HS2 rotors front and rear. They provide more power and heat management than a lighter trail brake, which suits the Levo R Pro’s speed and full-power capability.
Maven brakes use mineral oil and deliver strong braking without requiring excessive lever pressure on long or steep descents.
Roval Traverse SL II Carbon Wheels
Roval Traverse SL II carbon wheels help keep the bike responsive while retaining the strength needed for proper trail riding. Their hookless carbon rims have a 30mm internal width, providing a stable base for the 2.4-inch Specialized tyres.
Industry Nine 1/1 hubs provide quick engagement and straightforward serviceability. The wheels arrive tubeless ready.
29-Inch Wheels and S-Sizing
All available sizes use 29-inch wheels front and rear for efficient rollover, predictable handling and strong momentum across rough ground.
Specialized S-Sizing allows some riders to choose between neighbouring sizes according to their preferred handling. A smaller size will generally feel more agile, while sizing up provides additional room and high-speed stability.

Our Thoughts
The Turbo Levo R Pro is a high-end build, but the component choices are practical rather than simply expensive. The Lyrik Ultimate and Super Deluxe Ultimate give experienced riders plenty of adjustment, while Maven brakes provide the stopping power a fast full-power e-MTB needs.
The carbon wheels and X0 Transmission help keep the bike responsive, but the frame layout and suspension tune are what make the biggest difference. It is easier to place through technical sections and more willing to change direction than most full-power e-MTBs.
If you want the speed and agility of the Levo R with Ultimate-level suspension, powerful brakes and a strong carbon wheelset, the Pro is the serious rider’s build in the range.
