Specialized has just released a handful of new bikes as part of an early 2019 release, with updated specs, colours and a few new models.
The all-new Venge is the fastest bike Specialized has ever created. It's faster and more aerodynamic than the Venge ViAS, yet lighter than the Tarmac SL5.
The original mountain bike. Now, the ultimate trail bike. Completely redesigned with a stiff, light and beautiful asymmetric frame, supportive suspension kinematics and the ability to adjust geometry. The new Stumpjumper aims to be the best trail bike available.
Here we are building a 2018 Specialized Turbo Kenevo Expert, a pedal-assist 180mm travel DH rig. It's quite the bike!
Looks like the boys had a little adventure this weekend. They left after work Friday, zipped out to Hanmer Springs in the car and got on the bikes and rode out to St. James that night.
Big news here! Joe Nation has signed with Specialized New Zealand. We're stoked to help him get setup on his new Enduro 29 and started with some kit just in time for the Dodzy Memorial Enduro this weekend.
Darryn treated the team to a day out for lunch, cookies and hot laps in a V8 Supercar. What an experience!
This was Gravity Canterbury's first enduro of the year, held in the Port Hills. It was dusty and loose out there, which made for some pretty intense stages, particularly the Gnarly Nun stage.
Only just announced a few months ago, we have received our first pre-ordered 2018 Specialized Turbo Kenevo. The Kenevo combines all of the best parts of the Enduro and Turbo Levo into a pedal-assist, 180mm travel, 65° head angle, Ohlins coil DH weapon. This thing is completely nuts.
We'd like to thank everyone for coming out to last weekend's Specialized demos! Both events had a good turnout, so it was nice to meet some new people and to see some of our good customers, too.
They say you always learn something from every race, I certainly learnt a lot from this one! Guest blog by Jordan Pearson.
