Selle Italia has been making bicycle saddles since 1897, with options covering road racing, gravel, endurance riding, commuting and recreational cycling. The range includes everything from practical steel-railed saddles through to lightweight carbon and 3D-printed models.
Choosing a saddle is not simply a matter of finding the softest option. The correct width, shape and pressure relief all need to suit your body and riding position. A narrow, flat saddle may work well for a flexible road rider who moves around on the bike, while a wider or more supportive shape may better suit an upright position or longer endurance rides.

Superflow models use a large central cutout to reduce pressure on sensitive soft tissue, while different rail materials allow you to balance weight, durability and price.
